What should we bring for the lesson?

If you are an absolute beginner, you should only bring yourselves.
If you are already playing piano, it would be great coming with your piano music.
For the following lessons, you need to have a music notebook and I will inform you about which music books we will be working on.

We don't have a keyboard instrument at home, shall we buy it first?

It's preferable to have a keyboard instrument at home, at least an electronic small budget keyboard would do for the first 6-8 months.

When do we need to buy a piano?

At the and of first or second month, I will tell you which options you should consider about.

As a start can I or my daughter/son have the lessons once a week?

Yes! You can start with  having the lesson once a week. If it is a 30-minute lesson, we will be moving slowly, but we will be on our track.

Are the parents watching the lessons?

Yes, they are welcome to sit in on the lessons.

What are Covid restrictions about the lessons? Does the student wear a mask or a face shield?

There is always at least 15 minutes gap in between each face to face lesson to refresh to room, wipe the piano with anti bacterial wipes. I, as a teacher (who is recovered from covid last year and fully vaccinated after than) always wear a face shield or face mask. If there are more than 1 face to face lesson, after the very first lesson, I would prefer my students to wear either face shield or a face mask.

I am XX years old. Is it too late for me to start to play an instrument?

I am telling you, no! It is never too late. I can't promise you that you can be a concert pianist, but I can promise you the joy of music, being proud of your challenges and playing piano.
